geography deforestation advert
This storyboard does not have a description.
Over the last 40 years, around 750,00 square kilometres of the Amazon rainforest has been cut down due to demand of some products in the market. Some items include ice cream, (mahogany) furniture and mayonnaise. All the items listed above affect the Amazon, which is slowly disappearing.
All of the above products are made by cutting down trees which affects the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil. We can try to stop this by reducing the demand for these items.
Try buying products which you know haven't affected the rainforests to help preserve 'the lungs of our planet'.
