Storm surges are waves blown onto shore by the wind. The moon's gravity pulls the water to create high and low tide.
Surface currents spin in big circles surrounding the continents. These circles are called gyres. The earth's rotation causes this. It's called the Coriolis Effect.
The food chain helps the environment and tells us which is prey and which is a predator. In this food chain, plankton is at the bottom. If plankton were extinct, fish would have almost no food. So they would die. Then we would have no fish to eat, and other predators would go extinct because of the lack of fish. After that, more predators would die and only herbivores would survive. Same thing with plants and predators above land. If plants die, every living thing above land will die.
