Olivia, who sent a servant after Cesario to persuade him to return, tries to figure out how to get him love her, she sends for Malvolio because she wants someone dignified to help her.
Can you deliver this letter to Cesario
When Malvolio arrives, he behaves strangely. He wears crossed garters and yellow stockings and continually quotes strange phrases that Olivia doesn't know. Malvolio is quoting passages from the letter that he thinks Olivia wrote to him. Olivia, knows nothing about the letter and thinks Malvolio has gone mad. When the news arrives that Cesario is back, she asks Maria and Sir Toby to take care of Malvolio.
Sir Andrew has challenged you to a duel
Malvolio is convinced that he is correct and that Olivia is in love with him. But when Sir Toby, Fabian, and Maria come to see him, they pretend to think that he is possessed by the devil. Malvolio, speaks poorly to servants and to Sir Toby. Delighted by the turn the events, they decide to lock Malvolio in a dark room.
What just happened
Sir Andrew enters with a letter challenging Cesario to a duel. Sir Toby privately decides that he will not deliver the silly letter but, instead, will walk back and forth between Sir Andrew and Cesario. He will tell each that the other is fearsome and out for the other’s blood.
Cesario comes out of the house, with Olivia, who insists that he takes her locket with her picture as a love token and then goes back inside. Sir Toby finds Cesario, delivering Sir Andrew’s challenge. Cesario says that he doesn't wish to fight and prepares to leave. Sir Toby then tells Sir Andrew that Cesario is a tremendous swordsman, anxious for a fight.
I do not wish to fight.
Suddenly, Antonio enters. Seeing Cesario (thinking he is Sebastian), and tells Sir Andrew that he will fight him in Sebastian’s place. Illyrian officers burst onto the scene. They have recognised Antonio and arrest him. Antonio asks Cesario, who he still thinks is Sebastian, to return his purse. Viola , has no idea who Antonio is.The officers take Antonio away. Viola is left with a feeling of hope that her brother alive. Viola runs off to find gim, leaving Sir Andrew and Sir Toby confused.
