Lung cancer is a condition in which cancer is spread to the lungs. It is the leading cause of cancer related deaths.
Lung cancer is bad!
There are 3 stands of lung cancer, non-small, small cell, and lung carcinoid tumor. Non-small is most common by 85%.
The symptoms are a cough that does not go away, shortness of breath, pain in the chest.
In men, 1 in 14 are diagnosed with lung cancer. In women, 1 in 17 are diagnosed with lung cancer. 80% of cases are caused by smoking tobacco. Other uncontrollable risk factors are such as age, family history, radiation therapy to lungs, and air pollution.
To prevent lung cancer, stay away from tobacco, have a healthy diet, limit exposure to cancer causing chemicals, and avoid radon.
Put down the cigarette and save your chest!!!
