The morning before his first game after the injury
I wonder how today's game is gonna go, I'm kind of nervous.
You got this, don't stress it out buddy.
Glad to have you back on the court brother.
Thanks guys, I just miss being the best and it just hit that I will never be that again cause of my knee but I'm so thankful for all of you, I love y'all and thank you for always having faith in me.

After the game was over
Bro, you did your best out there and trust me you'll get back to how you were and even better, you got this!!
Yoo, you did great out there, I'm proud of you brother. We are all so proud of you!!
The morning before his first game, Mason was really nervous. He arrived at school and went straight to his locker so, he can grab his basketball and go practice before class started. No one was at school yet, he was the only one. He practiced for a bit and then prayed to do well in his game. He was really excited but also nervous cause it has been a while since his last game.
The day passed by and it was game time. His teammates welcomed him back to the court and told him that it will all be okay and that he shouldn't be nervous because he will do good. First quarter goes by, and Mason has already scored over 5 points on his own which is amazing. His teammates thought that he was doing great ,but he still thought that he should be able to do way more and wasn't that proud of himself.
Right when then the game ends, the whole team goes to the change room so they can change and shower and go out to celebrate since they won. They all started congratulating him on how amazing he was doing for him being just back. He really appreciated that but he also still thought that he wasn't the best and that he had to get better. He also realized after that, that tearing his acl was the worst thing that has probably happened to him but that didn't stop him from practicing harder and getting back to doing what he loves doing the most which meant that if he practiced even more he can go back to being the best player.
