  • I don't know it looked like a meteor or something.
  • What was that?
  • Conflict
  • Mr. Brand, don't go. The monsters don't want you to leave.
  • Why not Tommy?
  • Rising Action
  • What do you wait for Les? Aliens? Are you an alien in disguise?
  • On a quiet, suburban street in America, the residents notice a meteor like object fall over the sky. All the residents question what is going on and then the power goes out.
  • Climax
  • It's insomnia I tell you! I'm innocent!
  • Everyone starts to worry and get flustered when the power goes off and when the cars don't work either Steve and Charlie plan to walk downtown but Tommy warns them saying how the monsters want them to stay.
  • Falling Action 
  • After everyone finishes listening to Tommy say how the aliens came down looking like humans and how only they could leave, people start to say Les is one of them because of his car stating without him even in the car
  • Resolution
  • Everyone starts blaming Les saying how he waits for the aliens outside and how him and his family are aliens waiting for maple street to be taken over.
  • After Charlie mistakes Pete Van Horn for an alien, he shots and kills him and then everyone starts saying Charlie is the alien. He then blames the kid saying that he's the true alien.
  • Please! I'm so sorry! I didn't know it was Pete. I'm not an alien it's the kid! He started everything. Go get him.
  • After Charlie blames the kid, the whole town goes crazy and all the lights turn on and off and then everyone starts blaming each other. In the end, the whole town becomes enemies and the town is never the same again.
