When Sybil's ride was finished, she had recruited 400 soldiers for her dad to lead into battle.
Sybil did even more in the revolution! She became a messenger for the soldiers, helping greatly.
A while later, George Washington came to thank Sybil for her help, and the first secretary, Alexander Hamilton, wrote her a letter.
Later Sybil married Edmond Ogden.
Sybil died in 1839 and is buried on Maple Avenue Cemetery.
A fun fact about Sybil; no one knows how to spell her name! Its been spelled Sibbell, Sybil, Sibel, and Cybil, but her preferred spelling is Sebal.
