Julia Child was a successful French American Chef. She was one of the people that brought French Cuisine to America.
Julia Child was an Officer of Strategic Services in World War 2. After the War she created her first famous dish: Rouen.
When her TV show began in 1963, she became a sensation across America. Inspiring housewives, Julia Child had reached her fame.
Soon after her TV show aired, Julia Child wrote a book called; Mastering the Art of French Cooking.
Sadly in 2004 we lost an amazing french chef. Julia Child died from kidney failure. America had lost an icon in the cooking world.
Lucky for us, her legacy lives on. The Julia Child Foundation is a non-profit charity to donate to culinary arts.
