Odysseus finds his men by Lotus flowers that they had been eating to stay on the island.
Zeus sends Hermes to Kalypo's island to give instructions to Athene to let Odysseus go.
Odysseus realizes if they kill the Cyclops him and his men will never get out so he decides to give him wine to get him drunk then stab his eye.
The wind king gives Odysseus and his men a bag of winds. One of his greedy men opens the bag and blows them back further away from their destination.
There are two courses Odysseus and his men can take to avoid the sirens but one contains moving rocks and a six head monster that eats men so Odysseus puts earwax in his mens ears and he gets tied to the mast.
Athene puts a grey mist over Odysseus to hide him while he sleeps, this makes him not know where he is.
