  • Jefferson Davis was the president of the confederate states of America during 1861-1865. He was born on June 3rd, 1808, in Kentucky and he died on December 6th, 1889
  • Ulysses S. Gran
  • Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States and was also the president of the union during the civil war. His presidency lasted during 1861 - 1865. he was born on February 12, 1809 in Hodgenville, KY and died on April 14th, 1865. He issued the emancipation proclamation in 1863 which said for all states in rebelling states are free.
  • William Carney

  • Robert E. Lee was an Soldier for the confederate army, but he was best known for commanding the confederate states army. He commanded the Northern Virginia Army for 3 years until he surrendered in 1865. He died on October 12, 1870
  • Philip Bazaar
  • Ulysses S. Grant was a U.S general during the civil war. He led the Union Side to victory over the confederacy under Lincolns supervision. After the war, he became the 18th president in 1869 and his presidency lasted until 1877.
  • William Carney was an African American soldier during the 54th Massachusetts Regiment. In 1900 he received a medal of honor for his bravery with saving the regimental colors in the battle Fort Wagner in 1863.
  • Philip Bazaar, a navy seaman, was a Chilean immigrant that got the Congressional Medal of Honor for courage in the battle of fort fisher during the civil war.
