- My window is 25 feet off the ground and you gotta go 10 feet across the fish pond.
- No way! My bedroom is on the 2nd floor. You will need a tall ladder!
- Well, how tall do you think the ladder should be, 10 feet?
- Well, no. 10 feet wont work. Let's use Pythagorean Theorem. 25 sqd + 10 sqd = ladder height.
- ... and the sq root of 725 = 27 so we need a 27 foot ladder!
- Hey! Will this ladder work? I'll be back later to help and we can PARTY!
