  • Macbeth and Banquo return
  • So foul and fair a day I have not seen
  • A drum, a drum! Macbeth doth come
  • They all meet inside and speak for the first time
  • All hail, Macbeth, hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor!
  • All hail, Macbeth, thou shalt be King hereafter!
  • The witches vanish when Macbeth goes to question them
  • Stay, you imperfect speakers, tell me more.
  • The earth hath bubbles, as the water has, and these are of them.
  • The witches are waiting inside watching Macbeth and Banquo come towards them about to say something to them for the first time.
  • Macbeth and Banquo regroup and talk about it
  • Your children shall be kings
  • When Macbeth and Banquo arrive the witches say some things to him that he was not ready for and frankly catch him off guard.
  • Macbeth gets some unexpected news
  • The Thane of Cawdor lives: why do you dress me in borrowed robes.
  • The witches have said a lot of crazy things and as soon as anyone can ask them about it, they are gone into thin air
  • Banquo talks Macbeth through his reaction to the title
  • Might yet enkindle you unto the crown
  • Those that gave the Thane of Cawdor to me Promised to them no less
  • After they understand you cannot find the witches, the go to talk about it and try and understand what happened.
  • You shall be king.
  • Ross arrives and tells Macbeth that he is now going to become the Thane of Cawdor a spot that was held to Macbeth's knowledge.
  • He bade me, from him, call thee Thane of Cawdor
  • Macbeth is saying how Banquo will have children that are to be kings, but Banquo is more worried about the fact that they told Macbeth he will be king.
