  • These skills include: fine motor skills, cognitive development, language skills, and math skills. 
  • Using art in early childhood provides several pathways for children to obtain multiple skills.
  • Using art in early childhood always encourages the students in many different areas.
  • Children are encouraged in cultural awareness, decision making, imagination and Neural connections.
  • Lastly, the arts provide an outlet for students.
  • The younger their age the smaller the vocabulary and this gives them the opportunity to express themselves when they don't have the words to. 
  • ...and these are the reasons why art should be used in early childhood!!
