Storyboard Text

  • Kate decides to apply for a job as a cashier.
  • Hello, Ms. Greene, I would love to work here at your store. I think I would make a great cashier.
  • Perfect! Thanks so much!
  • Well, thank you, Kate, I will consider it and get back to you shortly.
  • Later that day, Kate goes on a date with her boyfriend Josh, and it doesn't go very well.
  • That's great and all, Kate, but listen... I think we should... um... break up.
  • ...Isn't that so exciting, Josh? I might get a job!
  • When Kate goes home, she is heartbroken.
  • No, Mom, I just want to be alone right now.
  • Oh Kate, do you need anything?
  • Kate posts online about her sadness for all the internet to see.
  • I'm so sad... I'll post about how my life is ruined and how I'll never get over my heartbreak...
  • To take her mind off her troubles, Kate decides to go see if she was hired.
  • The one thing that might make me feel better is getting that job. I should go check and see if I got it or not.
  • Kate goes to the store and learns a valuable lesson.
  • Oh... I understand... I shouldn't complain or overshare online like I did. From now on I will remember anyone can look and see what I post online.
  • Ah, yes. I'm really sorry Kate, but I saw what you posted online today and I do feel bad for you but I don't want that kind of negativity in the workers at my store.
  • Hey there Ms. Greene. I was wondering about the job.
