Chinggis Khan led a Mongol alliance that had won glory by defeating an army against them by the Jin Kingdom of north China. His growing reputation as a warrior and military comander won him allies and made him a very succsessful leader.
The Mongols were nomadic people who did not settle and relied on horses for transportation and fight. The Mongols were fierce fighters and capable of terrible acts of retribution against their enemies.
The Mongols specialized in hunt and fight. They were physically tough, mobile accustomed to killing and death. The weapons were lances, hatches, iron maces and bow and arrows.
