Storyboard Text

  • Zeus wanted to get rid of mankind because the contents of Pandora's box had made the world evil. He believed it was their fault even though it was his wrongdoing.
  • Zeus commanded the waters to rise and created a great flood. Zeus was going to use the flood to overcome man.
  • However, Prometheus was able to see the future, and he saw the Great Flood coming. He wanted his son and his wife to survive.
  • Prometheus told his son, King Deucalion, to build a sturdy boat and stock it well. He also said to throw bones of the Great Mother over his shoulder after the flood. Deucalion trusted his father, for he knew of his powers.
  • King Deucalion and his wife, Pyrrha, were the only survivors of the Great Flood, thanks to Prometheus. Deucalion figured that the bones of the Great Mother were stones because the Great mother was Earth.
  • As the king and his wife threw stones over their shoulders, the stones became people! Women for Pyrrha, men for Deucalion. Together, they restarted the human race.
