  • It is really hard to do proper layering on this thing so stay with me.

  • Closest thing to a Arch.
  • It is just next to the Tiber River, there Is the Apennines along the center of Italy and part of the Alps along the northern area of Italy too.

  • When a princess was banished to the Temple Of Mars, fell in love with her and they had twins, Romulus and Remus. One night they were stolen and thrown into a river, then found by wolves. They grew up with the wolves for eight years or so. Then a childless family took them and taught them to be men. Then got the thrown back from the evil king. When they decided what they should call their city that they built, they got into a fight then after Remus died then he named it Rome.

  • Etruscan engineering allowed for the Romans to built large structures that are stable enough to last almost forever. And the Cuniculi (?) helped the Romans irrigate their crops, and bring water to the city.
  • The Greek influence of writing, art, and religion.
  • Etruscan sports are, oddly enough, the sports that Romans are best known for making even though they just made them popular, (what with being such a large empire). But all of these games were very bloody like, Gladiator Fights, Slave Fights, and Chariot Races. These all encouraged the Colosseum to be built.
  • The use of columns was a 100% from the Greeks. Because of this amazing feat of engineering the Romans were able to build amazing structures, like the Colosseum.
  • The Romans used a modified Etruscan alphabet, which was an adaptation of the Greek alphabet. And like the Greeks, the Romans wrote in all capital letters. The Greeks carved important documents, such as laws and treaties, into bronze or stone plaques. The Romans also carved inscriptions in walls and columns for all to see.
