Gender Communication, A Misunderstanding
This comic was designed to show that when a person shows affection to someone of the opposite sex, that affection can be misconstrued to have a negative connotation. In this comic, the young woman asks her significant other to let her know that his flight landed and that he is okay. Instead of thinking that she is showing concern and compassion, the young man thinks that he is being ridiculed and being told that she thinks that he is not responsible and mature enough to take care of himself. This lack of communication and understanding leads the male to not call his significant other, leading her to not know of the imminent snake attack that he would perish from. In her grief the young woman takes her own life, this angers the god known as Haramberre, a pink gorilla who controls the cosmos. In his anger Haramberre punishes the man by forcing him into a state of limbo at the funeral of his significant other. If the young man had been more understanding, he could have prevented his placement in limbo, as well as his significant other's suicide.
Confusion can occur between sexes when one tries to express affection to another.

I am the Strawberry Gorilla known as Haramberre. For not calling your wife I doom you to limbo
Why is this my limbo?!? This is just grief and despair!
