THE ROAD BACK HOME- He floated on a piece of wood to a kingdom. Then he finally found his way.
ATONEMENT- When Odysseus returns home there are men lined up to marry his wife Penelope. In order for someone to marry her they have to shoot a bow through 12 holes. Odysseus was the first to do so when he returned home and everyone noticed that it was him and he won his kingdom back and had everything back to the way it use to be.
RESOLUTION- The test at the end of the story is for someone to shoot a bow through 12 holes. The first person to do that was Odysseus and he ended up winning his wife and his son back and everything was just like it used to be.
