  • I can answer that question. It's hotter in Summer than in spring because the sun is higher in the sky which also means that the sun is more direct 
  • Right again, when the sun is higher in the sky it's hotter because of the direct sun rays.
  • That's right, look at the time class is over for the day see you tomorrow 
  • So basically when the sun is higher in the sky so it's hotter which means there is more Thermal energy

  • Alright class, today we will be moving into learning about The Equinox and Solstices. To start the day off everyone pull out your notes books and copy down. There are two different types of solstices December 21st which is the shortest day of the year, then there is the Summer solstice is June 21st which the longest day of the year. An Equinox is when the hours of darkness and light are the same the Spring Equinox is on March 20th, and the fall Equinox happens on the 23rd 2019. 
  • Spring and Fall Equinoxs= Equal hours of daylight and darkness 
  • Summer and Winter Solstices= The longest and shortest  days of the year

  • I have a question, we learned about earth's tilt yesterday, but I was still wondering how earth is placed during each season
  • When the Northen  hemisphere is facing the sun its summer which means in the Southern hemisphere its winter
