Storyboard Text

  • The king of France made an attempt to leave France. The people of France started to think   that he was leaving or making an attempt to. The king was found on the border of Germany. He was held into treason. Eventually the people beheaded him. 
  • In the reign of terror  there were ideas made to  to spread the leaders   ideas throughout Europe. The leaders of the other countries did not like this. Robespierre decided who was there enemy . Someone he accused was usually beheaded. Hundreds of people died each week.

  • Then later they wanted to make a complete break with there past.  A man named Danton stood in prisoners dock At the Paris Courthouse with  a   few of his friends. People were telling lies about him so he did not think that he should stay quiet.  This was a big deal and the crowd started to applaud. People were killed in a big riet that accured short after.
  • During the next few day Danton was not aloud to speak at the  Courthouse. His only speech could be a final speech of defence.  Danton was found guilty and was sentenced to death. He walked outsid and put his head through the slot then saw the big blade come down. Most of the other leaders turned against Robeespierre after all of these events.
  • Napoleon was the king in France after all or the other past kings had died/ were beheaded. He was amazing in the military. They say he was a military genius. He was a very good leader and was kind to all of his people. 
  • He went to an island called St. Helena and he was there for a while. The people that did not like him, killed him. some people were happy but since he was nice and a good leader a lot of people were upset
