The Native Americans we nomadic that means they would move around usually to follow their food. For them to move around so much they had to have homes that were easy to put up and take down so they used tee-pees which are cones shaped poles covered in bison skin. They lived on the great plains. the great plains were very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. the great plains are also very flat.
One of the Native Americans main food source is bison, bison are humpbacked shaggy haired wild ox which are native to North America and Europe. Another one of their main food source is farming because it is so fertile on the great plains. They farmed berries,turnips,and maize which is corn.
Part of the Great Plain Native Americans life consisted of art. Art was a very big part of the females lives. Their daily art was bison skin,clothes tee-pees decorated with porcupine quills,pipes, shields, and clothing
