"If everything went right tonight, Park would be driving home tomorrow morning by himself. He'd probably be allowed to drive now wherever he wanted, but there was nowhere he wanted to go without Eleanor" (299).
"Eleanor didn't go to prom with him. Cat did...Eleanor hadn't written him a letter" (324).
CLIMAX: Eleanor's cruel stepfather finds out about Park and in a rage, starts to chase Eleanor. Eleanor runs to Steve's house and hides there until Park arrives. Park agrees to drive Eleanor to her uncle's house in Minnesota.
FALLING ACTION: Park drives Eleanor to her uncle's house in Minnesota and they both come to the realization that this could be the last time they see each other ever again.
RESOLUTION: Eleanor meets up with her aunt and uncle in Minnesota, leaving Park to go back on his own. Eleanor and Park lose contact, just as they feared, but life just goes on.
