This event changed the road to independence. The Colonist wanted more land to expand, but the British wouldn't let them because if the Colonists moved then they couldn't tax them, but they told them it was because of the Indigenous peoples.
This act made a difference about the way the Colonists saw their independence because the British kept taxing them but they couldn't fight to get rid of the taxes. This happened because the Colonists were not being represented in parliament.

This act drove the Colonist crazy. It made the Colonists realize that the British were just using them to get money to pay off all of their debt. This made them angry so they started to try to fight back.

This is when the Colonist realized that they were at war. They wanted to prove to the British that they can make a good country themselves after this day.
This was the ultimate form of protest. This was the outcome of the tea act. The Colonist had had enough with the taxes so they fought back by ruining tea.
This was the battle when the Colonist realized they had a chance of getting their freedom. They won this battle so they thought they must have at least a chance of getting their independence even though they have a total disadvantage.
