Haemon is welcomed into the story. He is Creon's son and he worships his father. He starts to talk about how great his father is.
Haemon then begins to talk about Antigone. She is not only his cousin but also his future wife. He tells his father why she shouldn't be killed and how it was just a misunderstanding. Haemon also threatens his dad.
After talking to is son Creon finally changes his mind and doesn't want to kill Antigone anymore. He decides he will just lock her up in the middle of the woods and feed her sometimes.
