  • John Dalton's theory: All matter is made up of atoms, atoms cannot be created or destroyed, all atoms of a certain element are identical, and every substance is made up of atoms combined in certain ways.
  • It is the year 1808, and I have published an atomic theory by using evidence and experiments!
  • J.J. Thomson's theory (year 1897) : Atoms are made up of even smaller particles,  the smaller negative charged particles are electrons, and Thomson thought that atoms were a positive sphere with electrons mixed through them.
