This is why I propose "Plastic pickers". They are small autonomous submarines. They could also be operated by remote control. There can be boats or ships in the ocean where they can return to to get charged and to release the plastic. They can scan areas for plastic, but more importantly, if people on boats, ships, beaches or near the ocean see a lot of plastic in one area, they can report the location, and the robots will go to the location and collect the plastic
That's a good question Bob. There are boxes on the robots where they can go near the plastic, and when they go on the plastic, the plastic goes inside. There will also be vacuums inside the boxes. The boxes will let water go out through small holes.
How do the Plastic pickers get the plastic?
Okay, Avanish. I shall invest in the plastic pickers. It seems like a good idea and it will help the plastic problem in the oceans.
