Ernaldo was sick and tired of doing his wife Ernalda's work! Every single day he had to do laundry, cook every meal, and wash the dishes. The worst part was, he is only 23. Ernalda was 30.
I don't like doing Ernalda's work anymore! I better go somewhere for a long time so she learns her lesson. I know! I will be a voyaguer
ERNALDO! Make some lunch! I only ate 37 pancakes, 45 pieces of sausage, 2 gallons of syrup, and 81 eggs!
The next day Ernaldo snuck out of the house at 4:59am so he could get to the canoe at exactly 5:00am. When he got on the canoe he wanted to go as slow as possible so his wife would suffer more. He brakes everyone's paddles hoping they didn't have extras, but they did and they were out of that place in no time. It has almost been a day and Ernaldo's hands were almost to the bone, his head was throbbing from the horrible singing, and arms felt like they were going to fall off. But Ernaldo knew that he had to make his wife suffer, so he kept on going.
Our paddles are broken!
I am the elderly one. Call me Tyrone
Ernaldo finally learned some of the people's names on the canoe and made some friends! They eat dinner which was disgusting! Heated duck foot, which wasn't even heated!! Simon is the chef on our canoe but isn't a very good one. That day the rapids were crazy! Ernaldo thought he was going to throw up. Not only from the insane rapids, but the non-cooked duck foot. Ernaldo didn't like this journey at all!!
It's been about 2 weeks on the canoe and Ernaldo's hands were almost to the bone! It was raining so hard that Ernaldo wanted to run home but Chad didn't let them stop to take shelter. "This is Superior boys!" yelled Jason. The waves were so crazy that Enrique fell off the canoe and nobody heard of him ever since. The rain kept going for days and days but Chad didn't let them take shelter or even stop to rest. Ernaldo regretted this journey 100%. Mostly because he alsmost flipped over in the canoe
"LOOK! It's the rendezvous!!" exclaimed Jason "We made it to grand portage boys." said Tyrone. "Too bad Enrique died right before this beautiful sight!" I said in sorrow. "I can't believe that you guys made this!" Chad yelled. "Actually Chad, we didn't build this. Tyrone and his crew did right before us." "Indeed we did young sir." Tyrone said in pride. "Let's have a look!" I said. So we went inside and it was magnificent.
Ernaldo's journey was over and he was glad. Ernalda was waiting for him at the very tip of the grass to see him. When he got off the canoe he went up to her and smiled at her. She walked away thinking he is going to ditch her again and go on the journey again. Ernaldo had no hesitations and yelled at the crewman, "See ya next year men!" then he went to make some dinner for Ernalda.
