Storyboard Text

  • "Oh, no!" My hand flew to my hair. "No, Johnny, not my hair!"
  • "Last night...just last night we were walkin' Cherry and Marcia over to Two-Bits. Just last night we were layin' in the lot, lookin' up at the stars and dreaming..."
  • Again And Again - 71 In the church during the 'run away', Ponyboy kept repeating the word, 'hair'. The hair was important to them because that is what represented them as greasers.
  • Again And Again - 74 Outside of the church, in the sun, Ponyboy and Johnny kept on repeating the word 'last night'/'night'. The author repeated that word multiple times because she wants to convey to the reader that Pony feels like so many things happened in such little time.
  • Contrast And Contradictions - 84 to 85 When they were in Dairy Queen, Johnny and Ponyboy weren't expecting Dally to say that Cherry was working with them.
