Storyboard Text

  • Well, the supply boat came 13 days ago and won't come for another 29 days.
  • Hurry come quick. We need to patch something up.
  • The Cornelius de Whitt changed directions so many times that it finally hit a reef. As soon as it hit the reef, all the sea rats came out of the ship. "No these were ship rats, huge, wise creatures, born on the sea, sailing all over the world on ships, transferring to other, large ships as they multiply."
  • Now these sea rats were starving from being stuck on a ship for a while with no food. These rats could smell fresh meat and they knew where that steel was coming from. So the rats swam across the sea and climbed up the rocks to the light house. Then the rats climbed up the lighthouse like hungry beasts.
  • HELP! THE RATS GOT IN!
  • The three lighthouse keepers had no idea what they were going to do. All they knew was that they were going to have to patch up anything that the rats bite to try to get in. The narrator says" Hurry come quick. we need to patch something up." After that Itchoua responds "Well, the supply boat cam thirteen days ago and won't come for another twenty-nine days."
  • That night, the three lighthouse keepers decide to leave the light house light off for the night. even though it may be a risk for other boats, Le Gleo, Itchoua, and the Narrator are willing to take the risk.
  • That same night, at two in the morning, the rats got in. The rats got in, in Itchoua's room. As soon as the rats bit the into the wall all the way and were able to get into the room, they started to bite Itchoua. right away, Itchoua called to others for help.
