Oxygen began to increase which created an ozone layer that protected life forms on Earth from ultraviolet rays from the Sun.
Life forms like cyanobacteria started creating oxygen from photosynthesis. At this point many life forms are beginning to appear. Jellyfish and other single cell oragisms are starting to form.
This marks the Paleozoic Era which is were many plants and animals started to appear. Jawed fish, ferns, sharks, and insects were starting to show up on Earth.
Plate tectonics began to move together and they created a super continent Pangaea. This happened at the the beginning of the Mesozoic Era.
Dinosaurs, earthworms and other mammals start to roam the Earth.
Continents started to slowly drift apart which established where they are now. This movement was called the Continental Drift. During the Mesozoic Era, dinosaurs become extinct. This starts the Cenozoic Era.
