The Battle of Vicksburg started on May 18,1863 and ended on July 4,1863
Since the Union won the Union won the Mississippi River
The Confederates won because of this man named Thomas Jackson. He got his nickname Stonewall Jackson because he stood like a stonewall.
The Battle of Bull Run started on July 21,1861 and ended on July 22,1861.
Even though it looked like the Union was about to win the Confederates won the battle.
