Hey, Mrs Granger. Why do you love dictionaries so much?
Character Trait (:
I'll take one of your finest frindles, please! (:
What is a frindle..?
Oh my gosh! That's freaky. Glad I don't have her.
Oh my gosh, Mrs. Granger is so scary. I heard she fails people on tests for not having their name on it!
Kids, now remember. For Christmas, instead of a toy car, or a stuffed teddy, ask your parents to buy the new dictionary I recommended them!
The conflict is man vs. self and the conflict is between Mrs. granger and herself. Mrs. Granger was thinking of a punishment for Nick when he tried to pass the time by asking Mrs. Granger a question.
I think Nick is funny because he tried asking for a frindle, which people didn't know about that word at the time. So it made him seem foolish.
I think the theme of I story is to not judge a book my it's cover. Nick was told all these horrible and nasty things about Mrs. Granger. Throughout the story, you can see that Nick's opinion changes about Mrs. Granger. And by the end of the story, Nick knows that Mrs. Granger is a kind-hearted person.
I'd rather get a new basketball, but.. sure, whatever..
Mrs. Granger wanted all her students to love the dictionary and to not make up words. But, Nick Allen comes along and invents a new word. So, Mrs. Granger decided to take action and made Nick sign an envelope and she stated that this was a 'war of the words". Then Nick gets famous about the new word he invented and ten years later he receives the envelope Mrs. granger made him sign in the past.
Mrs. Granger, would you like a frindle?
I decided to name this word, quincle because when I hear that word I think of tinsel at Christmas time and my cat always gets tied up because of it and I thought quincel sounds like a fun, unique word.
