  • Introduction
  • Today, I will be taking on the challenge of ascertaining the top three intelligences that apply/appeal to my life and how that knowledge can be utilized beneficially in order to determine possible careers opportunities.
  • Avneet Pandher, 623329 Ms. Singh GLC2O0 Due: Monday, February 18, 2019
  • Multiple Intelligences
  •  The answer is simple, identifying and comprehending the type of intelligence one excels in, can truly impact and guide their decisions on a potential career path, but also who they are as individuals.
  • Multiple Intelligences
  • Logical/Mathematical, Visual/Spatial, Verbal/Linguistic, Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, Bodily/Kinesthetic, Musical, and Naturalist
  • Why should I care about what my intelligences are?
  •  How would this information or data help me in my course of obtaining a fitting career?
  • My Top 3 Intelligences
  • Wow, I can't believe I've successfully identified my top intelligences because of this quiz!
  • Multiple Intelligences
  • Logical/Mathematical, Visual/Spatial, Verbal/Linguistic, Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, Bodily/Kinesthetic, Musical, and Naturalist
  • Multiple Intelligence Quiz Results! 1. Logical/Mathematical → 91% 2. Intrapersonal→ 88% 3. Bodily/Kinesthetic → 87%
  • The theory of multiple intelligences was created by Dr.Howard Gardner, in 1983 after realizing that traditional intelligence is based off an IQ test and that is too restricted. Knowledge cannot be scrutinized simply by examining how much we know about the world and the atmosphere around us. It remains imperative that we should have an unrestricted mind, free to determine and learn in distinctive ways. Diversity in intelligence proves that not everyone can be assessed the same way.
  • Mathematical/Logical
  • 276x + 36y (85x+32)
  • Math Homework
  • 78x + 9y (23x)
  • 16x + 3y (5x)
  • The intelligences include logical/mathematical, visual/spatial, verbal/linguistic, intrapersonal, interpersonal, bodily/kinesthetic, musical, and naturalist. All of these intelligences can apply to several individuals with varying amounts of strength. Throughout this comic, I will identify an extensive understanding of my top three multiple intelligences, applications of each intelligence, and 5 suitable occupations that would apply to my intelligences and why.
  • Intrapersonal
  • Oh my God! There are so many individuals here, all looking at me... I must remain calm and keep smiling
  • Welcome! My name is Avneet and I'll be the emcee for the night...
  • After completing the multiple intelligence online quiz, my top three intelligences were identified as logical/mathematical (91%), followed by intrapersonal (88%), and lastly bodily/kinesthetic (87%). Based on this information, I can find occupations that accommodate each intelligence. It is crucial that I remember to acknowledge that these are my strengths of intelligence and I can utilize this information and apply it to my daily life at school or even at home to be more sucessful.
  • Bodily/Kinesthetic
  • One more lap, till 5 kilometres!
  • With mathematical/logical learners, learning is best through logic, abstractions, reasoning, numbers, and critical thinking. It incorporates the capacity to analyze problems logically, carry out mathematical operations, and investigate issues scientifically. I was not shocked while acquiring that this is my greatest intelligence as I utilize logical/mathematical thinking constantly and I am capable of calculating and stargazing complex problems or situations easily.
  • In my everyday life, I use my mathematical/logical intelligence when I am at school or even home while working on different assignments or tasks that require logically understanding/application.
  • I also demonstrate this trait since I am always working towards an answer by using different formulas and strategies.
  • An intrapersonal individual has the ability to understand one's self, including appreciating one’s feelings, fears, and motivations. Being intrapersonal means being capable of understanding my personal emotions and thoughts in a simplistic manner and using it to directly identify how my actions affect others. Intrapersonal intelligence deals with distinguishing yourself as a person, as intrapersonal individuals are typically self-confident, goal oriented and happy with themselves.
  • I use this trait in my everyday life by directly identifying how my actions affect others and the atmosphere around myself. In the comic, I show myself being in control of my actions and not letting my apprehensive thoughts affect my performance, hence contemplating the decisions I make and understanding their consequences.
  • Bodily and kinesthetic intelligence entails the potential of utilizing one’s whole body or parts of the body to solve problems. It incorporates control of one’s bodily motions and the capacity to handle objects skillfully. Dr. Howard Gardner sees mental and physical activity as closely related. I utilize my body's physical abilities to communicate my feeling and ideas. I feel as if sometimes I focus better with activities involving more movement, rather than just reading off text.
  • I use this trait in my everyday life by utilizing my body to solve problems during fitness class and even in multiple settings. In the comic, I show myself running which is the typical form of exercise for myself to relieve stress and get out of my head. I would run in cross-country meets for my middle school which helped me network with new people while making my school proud.
