• To get the circumference you multiply the diameter by 3.14

• ﻿Lets say that you want to buy a basketball but is has to be 29.5 inches and you only have a ruler
• ﻿It's from a garage sale
• ﻿To get the circumference you multiply the diameter by 3.14
• The radius is 9.39 so﻿﻿ you multiply that by 2 to get the diameter which is 18.78
• Then take 18.78 and multiply it by 3.14
• ﻿
• ﻿To get the circumference you multiply the diameter by 3.14
• ﻿THE FINAL ANSWER IS 29.5
