Storyboard Text

  • The Tragic Maxwell Billingsworth
  • It would be an honor to produce your movie.
  • Act I
  • You should consider splurging for this movie, it has a lot of attention.
  • I know what I am doing, I am not adjusting my budget.
  • Act II
  • Good story but corners were cut during production.
  • Maxwell Billingsworth is a famous movie producer that has produced some of the highest awarded movies of his generation. He is very hardworking and confident because of his success. James Harrington is asking Billingsworth to produce his movie, he has written and directed 2 successful movies in his career so far.
  • Act III
  • Part of Maxwell's success is because he always sticks to a strict budget to ensure that there is a large profit. For this movie, one of his business partners suggested that Maxwell should spend a little more money on this movie because of how high profile it is. Billingsworth decided to stick to budget anyways because he trusts himself.
  • Act IV
  • What do you mean we are losing money?
  • Everyone loved the story line but it was obvious that some corners were cut to save money during production. A well trusted movie critic also went to review the movie and made sure to share that Billingsworth, the very wealthy movie producer, did not spend all the money needed to perfect his movie as much as possible.
  • Act V
  • Is there anything I can do to change this?
  • Once word got out about how Maxwell cut corners, many people stopped trusting him. It was as if all of his hard work over the years building his reputation went to waste. James Harrington is one example. Harrington was upset that his new movie got a bad reputation because of Billingsworth's refusal to spend more money.
  • Big time producer Maxwell Billingsworth cuts corners on new movie. If it were not for Billingsworth's refusal to spend more money, it would be challenging to critic this movie.
  • No way I am going to Billingsworth again after this.
  • Billingsworth's company started losing money and he was getting no new writers or directors coming to him wanting him to produce their movie. Billingsworth had a meeting with two of his business partners and tried to figure out what to do, but they all knew there was no way to restore his reputation.
  • Sir, after the movie critic's review no one wants you to produce their movies or watch them.
  • Maxwell was heartbroken; his whole career he had worked towards the position he had finally achieved. His whole life was dedicated to being a movie producer but once act of stubbornness and pride ruined it all. It is crazy how just one small act can ruin a whole reputation.
  • I am afraid it is too late, your reputation is severely damaged.
