  • "Come and Take It," was the phrase at the Battle of Gonzales. The reason it first is because it was the first battle and victory for Texas.
  • Massacre at Goliad
  • The Convention of 1836 was a way for the Texans to say if they were going through with war or if they want to make peace Mexico.
  • Runaway Scrape

  • The Battle of the Alamo was a wondrous thing for Mexico, having Santa Anna win over the mission San Antonio de Valero, getting revenge over the Texans.
  • Battle of San Jacinto
  • What now sir?
  • We will attack the Mexicans at 4:30 p.m.
  • The Massacre at Goliad was at Goliad because General Urrea wanted to keep the Texans as prisoners, so he brought to Goliad. Santa Anna thought this was against the law, so he ordered the prisoners dead.
  • The Runaway Scrape Is an important event because the Texan army is retreating to San Jacinto, but the Texan people don't know that so the Mexican army and Santa Anna think they have most likely won Texas.
