Tybalt recognizes Romeo's voice and furiously goes to Capulet. Capulet tells Tybalt that he should leave Romeo alone as he is honorable and Capulet doesn't want fighting at his party.
Romeo and Juliet meet, neither knows that the other is from the opposing enemy family. They both begin flirting with each other and even kiss twice. Romeo compares Juliet with a saint. Romeo later finds out from the nurse that Juliet is a Capulet.
