  • I TALK TO THREE HEADED ALIENS!!!!
  •  In the teleplay "The Monsters Are Due On  Maple Street" by Rod Sterling, one of the main themes is don't jump to conclusions.  One example of this is when Mr.Goodman'd car started by itself and everyone said maybe you're not so ordinary after all.  They kept a close eye on him after that.  Another example of this is when they accused Tommy of being the alien kid because he knew exactly what was going to happen.  Then Sally reassured them it was nothing of the sort and that he was just a little boy.  Finally Charlie accused Steve of being suspicious because of his ham radio set.  None of these accusations were true but yet the residents of Maple Street chose to accuse everyone of being the alien themselves.
