Can we keep it simple?
Where's the fun in that?
On the way to the North, Huck and Jim stop at a town near the river. Jim is re-enslaved after two men sell him to someone in the town.
Jim was sold to Tom Sawyer's aunt and uncle. To get close enough to free Jim, Tom and Huck pretended to be related to each other.
At night, Huck and Tom make a plan for helping Jim escape. Huck wants to keep it simple, but Tom wants to go all-out and make it more complicated.
Their plan was very complicated, and took a lot of time. After days, Huck and Tom managed to break Jim out of the cell.
The three of them escape into the woods. While running, Tom gets hurt and the others have to take him to a doctor.
They find out that MIss Watson is dead, and Jim is a free man. Huck is adopted by Tom's family, and is re-civilized. He and Tom live together now.
