  • "I accept this quest."
  • Launcelot saves the damsel from her wicked enchantment...
  • "It is my duty as a knight to save and protect human kind."
  • "Thank you for saving me!"
  • After saving the damsel, Launcelot rides to see King Pelles who lives in the haunted castle of Carbonek. King Pelles invites Launcelot to come sit at his table...
  • King Pelles' daughter, Elaine, takes the form of Queen Guinevere with the help of Morgana Le Fay in order to trick Launcelot into loving her. The trick works but soon Launcelot realizes that she is actually Eliane and furiously runs into the woods.
  • "Launcelot, I love you!"
  • After the departure of Sir Launcelot, Elaine is left with a broken heart that causes her death, and leaves a death note written to Launcelot, confessing her love towards him
  • King Arthur and Queen Guinevere find Elaine's letter to Launcelot, stating that she had passed away. Launcelot feels pity and guilt for the death of Elaine, but continues to love the Queen.
  • "Truly she loved me, but love cannot be commanded and it would be shameful for me to marry her if I did not love her. I am sad indeed, and filled with pity for the death of this lady. "
  • "That is truth indeed, love does come as a gift divine and must be treated with all honor."
