When Harriet Tubman and the other slaves were working on the plantation in the drenching rain, they hear screaming from a women, she was being whipped. Harriet Tubman had enough and knew that it was time for a grand escape.
With the help of many of her friends, she managed to help escape at least dozens of enslaves African Americans into free states including her own family. Her escape route were the underground railroads that were abandoned and stretched for miles.
Freedom for all!
Harriet had been goin back and forth through thousands of routes to help her fellow African Americans, she continued for years, until she could simply just do no more travleing.

Harriet didn't let her story end there though. She continued to help the community by creating a nursing home for the elderly. She was so proud of it and everyone loved it.
She fought long and hard for the abolition of slavery and for women civil rights. She made sure her voice was heard and she became very popular.
People will never forget everything Harriet Tubman did for this country and she was a big inspiration.
