- Why would he do such a thing.
- I'm going to turn myself in.
- ahhhhh. Help
- It's so hot i'm going to melt.
- Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dally were at Dairy Queen devouring their food. Ponyboy was so hungry he was able to eat a horse. Johnny was thinking about coming to the conclusion to turn himself in.
- Where am I?
- When the boys drove over to the church, they saw it on fire. They notice that some of the kids were missing. Ponyboy and Johnny ran into the church to try and save the kids. The holes in Johnnys madras was making his skin very hot.
- Ponyboy and Johnny broke the window and hastily climbed in. One by one they tried saving the kids. Scared and frightened, Johnny ran out with a kid, then ran back in. When Johnny was trying to get out, a piece of the roof fell down on him, causing him to get really hurt.
- I missed you. we thought you were gone.
- Ponyboy got knocked out by Dally, by hitting him in the back. When he was asleep they had to put him in the ambulance to get sent to the hospital. When he woke up in the ambulance he was really confused and was scared about Johnny and what had happened to him.
- When they got to the hospital, Pony was getting checked out and Johnny was still unconscious. When Pony was done with his check-up, he went to see Johnny. Ponyboy was very upset and doesn't know if Johnny will die or not.
- When Ponyboy gets out of the hospital room he goes to the waiting room. He was really upset until he looked up. When he looked up at the door, Sodapop and Darry were there. They started talking and Darry thought he lost Ponyboy.
