Plasma's main role is to take nutrients, hormones, proteins, and waste products and transport them to wherever they're needed in the body. Plasma also carries antibodies and clotting factors to help fight infections.(buffer is the scientific name of plasma) President Martin Van Ruin(liver disease): Liver disease kicks in when there isn't enough plasma in the body, liver disease is caused by a variety of factors that damage and hurt the liver causing many problems in your body.
