- Ponyboy and Johnny figure out that Cherry is the greasers new spy. This shocks them because she is Bob's girlfriend.
- cherry is our new spy!
- That's more fake then all of Sodas girlfriends! Ha!
- Johnny obviously cares about his parents, even though they abuse him. Johnny is hurt when he hears that they never asked about him.
- They whip you. WHIP WHIP! Why would they ask about you?
- Did my parents ask about me?
- The gang look at the fire and Ponyboy and Johnny think they started it. The two youngsters reluctantly run at the fire, trying to be elite heroes.
- Holy Moly!
- Ponyboy and Johnny are the amazing heroes that saved the kids. They were hurt more hurt than Bob, but are elite.
- Thanks!
- Ponyboy is a little hurt, but Darry and Johnny aren't. They are extremely hurt, especially Johnny, which makes Ponyboy more sad.
- Is Johnny and Darry okay?
- Ponyboy is happy to be back with his brothers. He sees Dally crying, something Ponyboy has never seen.
- I miss you guys so much!
