Storyboard Text

  • He road to the inn to see Bess.
  • Alliteration - "over the cobbles he clattered and clashed in the dark inn yard"
  • He road away to go still money but Tim told the redcoats.
  • repetition- " And he kissed its waves in the moonlight " " O sweet waves in the moonlight then he tugged at his rein in the moonlight."
  • Bess killed herself to warn the Highway man about the redcoats.
  • Imagery - " Her fingers were wet with sweet or blood "
  • The alliteration describes the sound he made as he traveled to the inn yard.
  • When the Highway man road back to the inn he got the signal and left.
  • The repetition describes what he did as he was leaving Bess.
  • The Highway man turned back to the inn to go kill the redcoats.
  • The Imagery describes what her hands looked like.
  • As he was going to kill the redcoats he got shot on the highway.
  • Simile - " Down like a dog on the highway."
  • The repetition describes how the highway man came ridding into town and realized the red coats were  after him.
  • Repetition - " The highwayman came ridding, ridding, ridding the red coats looked to there priming."
  • The rhyme describes how he left to run away from the red coats.
  • Rhyme - " He turned, he spurned to the west."
  • The simile describes how the highway man was laying down on the floor.
