The Acts Prayer concentrates on Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication, are the four aspects that make up the ACTS Prayer.
Adoration means to give God praise and honor. Adoration helps us trust in Him and place God first in our daily lives. Example: When you ask for something and it is answered praise God.
Confession means to hold yourself accountable and ask for forgiveness for your sins. Example: When you lie to your parents and you know it was wrong, so you then turn to God and ask for forgiveness.
Thanksgiving means to be grateful for what God has done for you. You should always show gratitude to God throughout life. Example: When something really good happens thank God because he helped you achieve that outcome.
Supplication means to honestly and humbly request before God. It is seeking not only our personal needs but the needs of others as well. Example: If something bad happens to your friend, you then request to God seeking the needs of your friend.
Dear heavenly father thank you for being in my life, and for keeping me safe. I want to confess that I put my work and sports before you God. Thank you God for allowing me to go to this school and thank you for allowing me to play soccer. Help all of the people sick and hurting in this world. Amen
