  • The Phantom Tollbooth By Susan Nanus 
  • "The Phantom Tollbooth" is a script by Susan Nanus.
  • In the beginning, a bored, young boy named Milo opens a box with a tollbooth inside. He decides to go to a place called Dictionopolis.
  • Tock, the watchdog, tells Milo about how King Azaz and the Mathemagician sent the princesses, Rhyme and Reason, to the Castle in the Air. 
  • Milo meets King Azaz and is given a box of letters. He must save the princesses from the Castle-in-the-Air.
  • Then, Milo, Tock, and the Humbug go to the Number Mine in Digitopolis and meet the Mathemagician. He gives Milo a magic pencil staff.  
  • The friends exits the Number Mine and heads for the Castle-in-the-Air. After getting stopped by demons, they finally save the princesses.
