  • I HAVE WISDOM!
  • Buffalo Soldiers were the names given by the Indians to the 4 regiments of African Americans and more particularly ton the two cavalry regiments, to the two cavalry  that served on the frontier in the post-Civil War army. 
  • This is the last time I am going to ask, who in the world parked to jeep in the cabin?
  • The Buffalo Soldiers were faced with many prejudice for being African American. The Soldiers did chores, build roads, patrolled the frontier, and did other military tasks. They mainly tried to drive out the buffalo to help get rid of the Native Americans.
  • WOAH!!
  • Henry O. Flipper was one of the many Buffalo Soldiers. Flipper was the first black graduate from West Point. He was a great soldier and had lead the Buffalo Soldiers.
  • WHOO HOO!!  YEAH!
  • Other Soldiers were uncomfortable around these African Americans. They thought they shouldn't even be in the military.  The other soldiers gave the buffalo soldiers many hard tasks to show what they can do.
  • There was not just regular soldiers, there were also cavalry for the buffalo soldiers. The Buffalo Soldiers that were on horseback were very talented and could control the horse very well. The soldiers sometime even shot long rifleson the horse.
  • In conclusion, the Buffalo Soldiers were a big factor into trying to get rid of the American Indians. They also showed lots of courage for being African American and doing all these tasks.
