How a Bill Becomes a Law By: Catalina Temple
Hi , I'm Veronica and Im showing you the way a bill becomes a law
A bill comes here to Congress. Congress is made up of two sections, The House of Representatives and the Senate. The bill goes to the House of Representatives, and if it is passed, it goes to the Senate and then it goes to the White House.
The bill then goes to the President and he has three choices. To sign the bill making it a law, to veto the bill and send it back to Congress, or hold onto the bill and sign it later or later veto after not responding to it in a frame of time.
After the President chooses to sign the bill, it comes to the Supreme Court. They determine if it is Constitutional or Unconstitutional ., but the only way to override this is by making an amendment.
